Since 2004, the Haitian Children’s Aid Society or HCAS has provided food, shelter, medical care, educational opportunities and other means of life to orphans and other children in need in the country of Haiti. HCAS has been a not-for-profit incorporation in Alberta since 2004 and a Registered Charity since February 2010.
HCAS is governed by a volunteer board of directors who are drawn together from a variety of backgrounds by a common passionate concern to help Haiti’s poor. Most of the board members have done volunteer work in Haiti and many have adopted children from there as well.
HCAS currently holds two major fundraisers each year and solicits donations from individuals and organizations as we endeavor to keep the plight of the people of Haiti in clear focus for all.
